Germany: Police use photo of white male to depict assault by African migrant

An African migrant, 31, was arrested in Munich last month for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old German girl. But what made an already tragic situation worse was that the police used a photo of a white male sexually harassing a woman in their statements about the incident on social media.

The girl was at the Dachau station on a train headed for Munich at around 10 PM on Friday, March 27 when the migrant, who was identified as being from Eritrea, approached her, according to a report filed by the Munich Police Department. Becoming nervous, she moved to another seat, but the man followed her and sat next to her. He then began to stroke her legs and attempted to kiss her in the genital region. When she tried to escape, the man grabbed her and fondled her under her clothes, and also took her mobile phone.

When the train reached the Röhrmoos station, the man commanded the girl to get off with him and made threats, heading for the doors. When she refused, he threw her phone back on the train and fled the scene. Another man on the train came to her aid, and helped her to make a report to the police. Officers arrested the suspect near the Röhrmoos station. He lives in Dachau. The girl was able to identify the suspect, and he is still being investigated.

In their statements about the incident on social media, however, the Bavarian State Police chose to use an image of a white male groping a white woman to illustrate them. Twitter users objected to this distortion, some pointing out that it would not be considered acceptable if a crime had been perpetrated by a white suspect and a black person was used to illustrate it.

“Thank you for the numerous comments,” the Bavarian State Police said in response to the criticisms in a tweet. “We will discuss your comments and opinions internally.”

A recent report by the German Federal Police revealed that 35% of all criminal suspects in the country — and 40% of all murder suspects — are foreigners, despite the fact that foreigners comprise only 12% of the national population, as previously reported by Voice of Europe.

Germany arrests 4 IS suspects planning to attack American bases

German authorities say police have arrested four suspected members of the Islamic State group alleged to be planning an attack on American military facilities.

Federal prosecutors said the suspects were arrested early Wednesday at various locations in the western state of North Rhine-Westphalia.

They identified the men as Azizjon B., Muhammadali G., Farhodshoh K. and Sunatullokh K. — all citizens of Tajikistan. The suspects’ surnames weren’t released for privacy reasons.

German weekly Der Spiegel reports that the men’s alleged leader, a 30-year-old Tajik man identified only as Ravsan B., has been in jail since last year on firearms charges.

Prosecutors said the men swore allegiance to IS in early 2019 and had contacts with high-ranking figures in the group. They reportedly first planned to carry out an attack in Tajikistan but later shifted their target to Germany, including U.S. Air Force bases in the country and persons deemed critical of Islam.

47 ‘unaccompanied minors’ from Greek migrant camps arrive in Germany amid pandemic

Image

A group of 47 unaccompanied children evacuated from refugee camps in Greece landed in Germany on Saturday, German officials said.

The Interior Ministry said the minors landed in Hanover on a flight from Athens. They were all tested for the coronavirus before departure and will remain in two-week quarantine before moving on to other German states

Germany’s interior minister, Horst Seehofer, said the evacuation was “the result of months of preparation and intense talks with our European partners” and expressed hope that other countries would also begin taking in refugee children soon.

The children come from Afghanistan, Syria and Eritrea. Four are girls and there are several siblings among the group.

Some of them have families waiting for them in Germany.

They were previously housed in refugee camps on the Greek islands of Lesbos, Samos and Chios that have been criticized as unsuitable for children by human rights activists.

“The Greek government has been trying to sensitize other EU countries to (the plight) of the young children, who have fled war and persecution, to find new families and start a new life. I’m glad this program is finally being implemented,” Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotsakis told reporters at the Athens airport, where he met the departing children, alongside the German ambassador to Greece, Ernst Reichel.

Mitsotakis added that he hoped over 1,500 minors would be relocated over the next months.

Germany pledged last month to take in at least 350 children living in Greek refugee camps as part of a joint European effort, but the plan has stalled in some countries due to the pandemic.

“Greece will continue to treat all … that arrive in our country with great sensitivity. But, at the same time, it has the obligation to guard and protect its borders. We have proven, as a country, that we can do both,” Mitsotakis said.

This was the second flight taking unaccompanied minor refugees to another European country. On Wednesday, 12 children traveled to Luxembourg.

According to the United Nations Secretary-General’s spokesman, Stephane Dujarric, there were over 5,200 unaccompanied asylum-seeking minors in Greece in early April “in urgent need of durable solutions, including expedited registration, family reunification and relocation.”

Angry migrants cry racism in protest outside German living facility

Image

Two weeks ago, protests erupted outside of Camp Lindenstrasse – a migrant living facility in Bremen, Germany. Forty or so angry migrants took to the streets and called on government authorities to shut the facility down amid the coronavirus crisis.

One of the protesters can be heard yelling: “They only care about whites! The racism is too much” one of the angry

“These babies were born here! They are German babies!” another protester screams.

Roughly 500 inhabitants live at the facility.
They do not get lots of sympathy from Germans...

Germany: 1,800 “unaccompanied minors” immigrants are missing

Some 1,800 so-called unaccompanied minor immigrants have vanished without a trace in Germany.

At the end of last month there were 1,074 adolescents and 711 children who were reported missing, according to the newspapers of the Funke media group, which cited figures from the federal government which were given to the Left Party’s parliamentary group following a request.

Most of the missing migrants are Afghani, Syrian, Moroccan, Guinean, and Somalian nationals.

The number of missing “unaccompanied minors” fell considerably from previous years. According to the federal government, this is most likely due to the fact that many of the young people who recorded as missing in the past had reached adulthood and as a result were no longer recorded as missing minors, Die Welt reports.

The main reason for the disappearance of unaccompanied minor immigrants, according to the federal government, is the “onward travel to family members” either within Germany or elsewhere in Europe. The “dissatisfaction with the place of accommodation” was also listed as a reason.

Germany’s Federal Ministry of the Interior reported that between 2016 and 2019, approximately 21,000 cases of missing unaccompanied migrants were reported.

Despite the alarming figures, Germany continues to import more unaccompanied migrants, even amid the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic. As Voice of Europe reported, a group of 47 unaccompanied minors that had been staying in migrant camps in Greece landed in Hanover, Germany on Saturday. Only four girls were among the 47 new arrivals.

Politicians from the Greens, SPD, and FDP have called on the German government to import additional migrants.

Germany: Pair of Syrians arrested after several passers-by stabbed

Police in Hanau, Germany have arrested two Syrian nationals who’re suspected of having stabbed several passers-by on the street on Tuesday evening.

Following the attack, the victims – four immigrants from Syria, Iraq, and Albania – were rushed to the hospital where they were treated for their injuries. Dominik Mies, spokesman for the Hanau public prosecutor’s office, said police believe there to be between five and seven attackers.

According to a report from the German tabloid Bild, the two Syrians who’ve been arrested were among the group of attackers who’ve been described as “young men with full beards”.

A spokesperson for police headquarters in Southeast Hesse said on Wednesday that the two Syrian men who are in police custody were largely responsible for the violent acts. Although a specific motive for the attack has yet to be officially determined, reports suggest that the violence may have stemmed from a fight that occurred near a Turkish snack bar earlier.

“At the moment we have no evidence that the attacks have a political or xenophobic background,” said Mies

Mies, when asked whether the act of violence had any connection to the Hanau shooting on February 19th which left nine dead and five wounded, said: “So far, there is no evidence of this.”

It remains unclear as to whether the attackers and the victims knew each other or not.

Germany branded Hezbollah a "Shiite terrorist organisation, and Iran does not like it. They want
revenge.
Iran says Germany will face consequences over Hezbollah ban

Iran has slammed Germany's ban on the activities of Lebanon's Hezbollah movement on its soil, saying it would face consequences for its decision to give in to Israeli and US pressure.

Germany branded Hezbollah a "Shiite terrorist organisation" on Thursday, with dozens of police and special forces storming mosques and associations across the country linked to the Lebanese militant group.

In a statement issued overnight, Iran's foreign ministry said the ban ignores "realities in West Asia".
The Islamic republic said the move was based solely on the goals of the "propaganda machine of the Zionists and America's confused regime".

It "strongly" condemned the decision it said showed "complete disrespect to the government and nation of Lebanon, as Hezbollah is a formal and legitimate part of the country's government and parliament".

Iran said Hezbollah had a "key role in fighting Daesh's terrorism in the region," using the Arabic acronym for the Islamic State group.

"The German government must face the negative consequences of its decision in the fight against real terrorist groups in the region," it added.

Hezbollah was established in 1982 during the Lebanese civil war and fought a 2006 war with Israel.
Iran is a major supporter of the Lebanese Shiite group and its "resistance" against the Islamic republic's arch foe Israel.

Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz hailed Germany's decision to ban Hezbollah as a "very important decision".

"I call on other European countries as well as the European Union to do the same," Katz said in a statement.

The United States and Israel have long designated Hezbollah as a terrorist group and urged allies to follow suit.

Like the European Union, Germany had until now outlawed only Hezbollah's military wing while tolerating its political wing.

Britain outlawed Hezbollah's political wing last year, making membership of the Shiite movement or inviting support for it a crime.

Germany: Domestic spy agency counts 2,000 Islamists as potential terrorists

The Office for the Protection of the Constitution – Germany’s domestic spy agency – has announced that there are at least 2,080 Islamists regarded as potential terrorists living in the country.

Thus, the threat from Islamic terrorism is “still high,” a spokeswoman for the Office for the Protection of the Constitution told The RedaktionsNetzwerk Deutschland (RND). Today’s Salafist scene in Germany is made up of at least 12,150 people, about 1,350 more than were recorded in the summer of 2018.

The agency also warned that, despite the military defeat of ISIS in Iraq and Syria, the organization’s underground structures are still intact and Westerners remain the terrorist group’s central enemy.

The Office for the Protection of the Constitution also noted that it has knowledge of over 1,060 Islamists from Germany who have made their way to Iraq and Syria in recent years. About a third of them have returned to and are living back in Germany again, while a few hundred are said to be in Iraqi and Syrian prisons. Of those who have returned to Germany, the agency believes that slightly over one hundred of them participated directly in fighting or received military training. These are the individuals who are the main focus of security forces.

In April, German authorities arrested four suspected members of an Islamic State group who are believed to have been planning an attack on American military facilities in the area, as Voice of Europe reported.

Germany: ISIS supporter arrested with pipe bombs; confesses to attacks in Bavaria

A 25-year-old German citizen of Turkish descent admitted over the weekend to carrying out four separate attacks on Turkish establishments in the town of Waldkraiburg.

The unnamed male was arrested in Bavaria on Friday at a railway station for failing to pay for a ticket. Police, when searching the suspect’s luggage, discovered several makeshift pipe bombs. As a precaution, police evacuated buildings nearby the suspect’s home after he claimed to have other weapons and explosives stashed back at his home.

Upon searching the suspect’s home and vehicle, investigators from the State Criminal Police Office discovered another 13 pipe bombs, ten kilos of bomb-making chemicals, a pistol, and other explosives in significant quantities.

While being interrogated, the suspect – who’s the son of Turkish immigrants – claimed that he supported and fought for the Islamic State, German broadcaster Bayerischer Rundfunk reports.

During a press conference, senior chief prosecutor George Freutsmiedl said that the 25-year-old suspect, who refers to himself as the “Waldkraiburg bomber”, was motivated by his “hatred of Turks”, but denied having any emotional connection to the Kurdish conflict.

Prior to his arrest at the railway station, the suspect had only been known to authorities for minor drug charges. He stands accused of 27 counts of attempted murder, serious arson, and dangerous bodily harm.

Joachim Hermman, Bavaria’s interior minister lauded the efforts of police and affirmed that the state would never tolerate such attacks.

“The suspect has intolerably frightened Turkish citizens in Waldkraiburg in terror. Such acts are ultimately an attack on all of us,” Hermman said.

The dhimmi award goes to the German Catholic priest Michael Knaus .

Image
Germany: Catholic priest prays for peace from roof of mosque

“For the first time in the city of Zoller, a Christian priest publicly prayed from the canopy of the mosque of the Muslim community,” alongside an imam.

Michael Knaus’ reasoning was:

“It is simply about a peaceful coexistence of denominations and religions.” And that is why he gladly accepted the invitation from Baykan Akdogan, the dialogue officer of the Muslim community, to say a prayer for peace.

If normative Islamic doctrine were all about “peaceful coexistence of denominations and religions,” there wouldn’t be a problem; but instead, it teaches supremacy, subversion and conquest of unbelievers. Knaus, like so many others, has chosen to turn a blind eye to this normative Islamic doctrine, which views Christianity as inferior, calls for warfare against Christians, and lives out these doctrines today in ongoing jihad warfare against Christians in Africa and the Middle East. His “historic gesture” at the mosque was in line with many gestures of the Pope, who has made it his priority to see the Catholic Church partner with Islam in efforts toward achieving “world peace.”
  • For the first time in the city of Zoller, a Christian priest publicly prayed from the canopy of a mosque of the Muslim community.

The second public Friday prayer of the Hechingen Muslim Community took place yesterday, peacefully and without public controversy. The AfD, which had demonstrated with a crucifix and German flags a week ago on Gammertinger Strasse, canceled a new rally in advance.

50 Muslims and a few Christians

Around 50 Muslims and a few Christian onlookers witnessed a historic moment this time: For the first time since Islam became part of Hechingen, a Christian pastor prayed publicly with the Imam, the prayer leader of the Muslim community. Michael Knaus, the pastor of the Catholic parish of Hechingen, climbed onto the canopy of the Suleymaniye Mosque on Gammertinger Strasse.

    “It hurt me so much”

Knaus explained how this came about: last Sunday, the Catholic priest criticized the protests against the Muslim Friday prayer in his video service in the St. Luzen Church. “It hurt me,” said Knaus, “to see that Muslims should be prevented from praying. And I said that I find it shameful.” That caused “violent reactions, even from Catholics”. A priest could not behave like this, he was told.

    Peaceful coexistence is important

But Knaus remained persistent: “It is simply about the peaceful coexistence of denominations and religions.” And that is why he gladly accepted the invitation from Baykan Akdogan, the dialogue officer of the Muslim community, to say a prayer for peace.

    Brother of all people

And so Pastor Knaus said from the canopy of the mosque: “Lord, I came here as a brother of all people who were created in your image.” True to a prayer text from 1913, he asked God: “Make me an instrument of your peace, that where there is hatred, that I would love; that where one is offended, I would forgive; that where there is conflict, I would reconcile.”

    Peace message on May 8

Appropriate words in these days of crisis, in which new ways of dialogue are sought in a variety of ways; this is certainly a fitting message of peace on May 8, the 75th anniversary of the end of the war and the liberation of Germany from the Nazi dictatorship.

    O Allah, protect all people

Adnan Bürkev, the chairman of the Hechingen Muslim Community, was also pleased with the words of reconciliation that Pastor Knaus said: “It was great. It has to be that way. We have to stick together in Hechingen. We all pray to God. That’s all.” To God, which means Allah for the Muslims, the imam of the community, Ahmed Gezer, had previously called upon in the usual manner before Tuba Sekerci, the community’s commissioner for religion, renewed the prayer for peace from the previous week in German: “O Allah, protect everyone in Hechingen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany and all over the world from the pandemic we are experiencing. “

The third edition will follow next Friday at 1.30 p.m. Then the Muslims are expecting a guest from the Protestant community.
“It hurt me,” said Knaus, “to see that Muslims should be prevented from praying. And I said that I find it shameful.”

Dear Knaus. No one, and I repeat....No one prevent Muslims from praying.

Germany: Migrants attack reception center employees and police

Six employees at a migrant reception facility in Baden-Württemberg were injured after being attacked by migrants over the weekend.

At least thirty police officers were called to the migrant reception center in Ellwagen on Sunday evening after security guards were assaulted by violent migrants staying at the facility. Police are now investigating the attackers for committing dangerous bodily harm, German newspaper Sueddeutsche Zeitung reports.

According to police, the incident began when a 13-year-old Afghan and a 43-year-old Gambian got into a quarrel over a water bottle in the canteen. What started out as a verbal dispute quickly became physical when the African struck the Afghan across the face.

When security personnel attempted to intervene and calm the situation, the migrants quickly redirected their anger and hostility toward the center’s staff members. Next, the 43-year-old and several other migrants began attacking employees. When the migrants were forced out of the canteen, about 15 of them armed themselves with chairs and shards of broken glass and pushed their way back into the building. Other migrants are said to have cheered the attackers on before eventually joining them in the canteen.

It was at this point that police were called in to quell the revolt.

In a separate incident which took place at an asylum center in Geldersheim, Lower Franconia, a mob of 100 migrants gathered, at first to protest lockdown measures, but later attacked employees and police officers, German broadcaster Bayerischer Rundfunk reports.

Two police helicopters, the Schweinfurt police, Supplementary Operative Services Schweinfurt and Würzburg, and forces from the Würzburg riot police had to be called to the location to maintain order.

The violent demonstrations left one police officer with injuries, while 16 asylum seekers were arrested for dangerous bodily harm and coercion.

Germany: Praying Muslims take over massive pedestrian street in Herne

A video clip of a large group of Muslims taking over a massive pedestrian street in Herne, Germany to pray has surfaced and is circulating on social media.

Image

The video clip, which was posted on Tuesday, has prompted strong reactions among some people. Outraged by what he saw in the video, Michael Doran, an American analyst of international politics of the Middle East and a Senior Fellow at the Hudson Institute, took to Twitter, writing: “Today’s Germany is not your patents’ Germany.”

In the clip, more than 200 or so Muslims can be seen taking over a massive pedestrian zone to pray. While some commenters on post see no problem with this particular scene, others note that scenes like this one are merely the end result of the policies that the German people have voted for.

Unfortunately, explicit and implicit displays of Islamic domination in cities throughout western Europe have become common place. Today, all throughout western Europe, mosques obnoxiously blare calls to prayer through loudspeakers in what should be viewed as nothing less than an act of cultural rape.

In the Netherlands, neighbors of a mosque in Amsterdam who’ve complained about the offensively loud prayer call have been told to shut up and get used to it, as Voice of Europe reported.

In 2018, Voice of Europe reported that a mosque in the municipality of Växjö, in Sweden, had received permission to broadcast their call to prayer over loudspeakers, while the St. Michaels Church had their application for a wake-up call for church services in the same city denied.

Not all Europeans are staying silent about their culture being rape by aggressive Islamists, however.

Earlier this month, to protest a mosque’s obscenely loud call to prayer, Danish activists from the pan-European organization Generation Identity hung a massive banner from the top of an apartment building which read “Stop Prayer Calls”, Voice of Europe reported.

Germany: Muslims declare a Sharia zone and forbid all unbelievers to enter, threaten to kill infidels and cops

Declaring enclaves that are free from the law of the land is all the rage these days, and this fad will continue, since government and law enforcement officials do not have the will to put a stop to it.

Kaiser-Friedrich-Strasse in the Marxloh district of Duisburg is one of the streets that are said to be firmly in the hands of Arab clans. The police patrol the pedestrian zone frequently, it is usually peaceful, and the officers sometimes wave to the many children playing. The situation was similar on the evening of May 17: at 6:07 p.m., a uniformed patrol car crew consisting of two officers and a third-year commissioner candidate was noticed by the German-Lebanese S., an 18-year-old frequent offender who is known to police and is a member of a large Lebanese family. This is a momentous encounter that will lead to a public reopening of the conflicts in the north of Duisburg and will make headlines nationwide in the following days.

Against S., born in Duisburg in July 2001, 75 investigations have already been carried out since 2014, mainly for property and violent crime, as stated in an investigative report by the police headquarters in Duisburg about the recent violence in Marxloh. The 13 pages are available to our editors. The report is declared with VS (classified information) – only for official use.

There is a pre-trial detention order against S. for dangerous bodily harm. That is why he escaped that May evening when he saw the officials, accompanied by two people who, according to the police, are said to belong to the support group of the Lebanese-born extended family. He ran into a residential building – dangerous terrain for the police. The blocks, according to the mission report, have a freely accessible system of cellars and backyards, and are inhabited by large Lebanese families. Nevertheless, the police officers decided to persecute S., but they request reinforcement by radio.

In the block of houses, S. wanted to flee into an apartment, but when he rang the doorbell, the door was not opened immediately. The police took advantage of this and caught up with him. They overwhelmed him with an “irritant sprayer” and “with simple physical violence.”

Meanwhile, the candidate for the commissioner blocked the front door of the house so that no supporters of S. could come to his aid. Outside, 25 people were already protesting loudly against the police operation. The reinforcements arrived and cleared the space, but were attacked, and some officers suffered minor injuries. S. threatened the police with death: he said he would kill them all at some point. Everyone knew how big his family was and who the police had just messed with.

Since the arrest of S. “the conflict seems to be boiling again in and around Marxloh,” according to investigators. The police tactic of zero tolerance, which has been used in the field for several years, actually works. Since 2017, with 24 “tumult situations,” the number has been reduced to eleven in 2018 and four in the past year, as stated in the present investigation file. But just in the days after the arrest in the stairwell there were two further tumult situations in the north of Duisburg, on May 19 and May 28.

On May 22, it is stated in the file, the police headquarters in Duisburg received an email with the threat of an attack and a warning to withdraw from Marxloh. “Subject: Allahu Akbar, Duisburg-Marxloh is our district. (…) We prohibit all unbelievers from entering our district. We will drive away or kill all police officers, journalists and other unbelievers by force of arms. For us, only the radical Sharia law applies,” says the letter. “We got 2,000 AK-47 assault rifles from Turkey and Russia with enough ammunition. Allahu Akbar, kill all unbelievers.”

Investigators find that the sender’s email address is part of a platform that disguises email addresses and identities. Investigators appear to be taking the threats seriously. According to the police file, the public prosecutor’s office sees this as an initial suspicion of disturbing public peace through the threat of crime….

Germany: “Youths” riot, fight police

Dozens of groups of “youths” rioted in the centre of the city of Stuttgart last night, causing severe property damage, looting, and injuring police officers.

20 people were arrested and more than a dozen police officers were injured amidst the chaos, according to a report by ZDF Heute. There was extensive property damage, with many shop windows broken, and rioters pulled cobblestones out of the streets and threw them at officers. Many police vehicles were damaged as well. Widespread looting was also reported.

Although the situation was severe enough that emergency services from other areas of Baden-Württemberg had to be called in to reinforce the city’s resources, the situation was said to have calmed down by Sunday morning. The authorities are still in the process of assessing the extent of the damage.

Police said that hundreds of people were involved in the violence, although split up into many small groups.

The rioting apparently began after police had stopped someone on suspicion of a drug-related offence. Gangs of youths then began to assemble in solidarity with the suspect and began their attacks in the area of the Schlossplatz.

Cities across Western Europe have been rocked by violence in recent weeks in the aftermath of the death of George Floyd, a black man who died while being taken into police custody in the United States last month, setting off widespread rioting there as well.

Stuttgart also saw violence and rioting last month when Antifa thugs assaulted demonstrators at protests in opposition to the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown. Some of those attacked had to be hospitalised, as previously reported by Voice of Europ

Looters chant 'Allahu Akbar' during Stuttgart's worst ever riots that turned the city into 'a battlefield' - as police reveal those involved were 'mainly young people with a migration background'

Looters shouted 'Allahu Akbar' as they ransacked shops in Stuttgart on Saturday night and most of those arrested came from a 'migrant background', it has emerged.

Yobs attacked police with stones and bottles after a German teenager was arrested for a drugs offence in clashes which quickly escalated into the city's worst-ever night of rioting.

Of the 24 people arrested, 12 were foreign nationals while three of the other 12 were German nationals with a migrant background, police announced at a press conference on Sunday.

Hans-Jürgen Kirstein, the head of a police union, told Bild that 'young people with a migration background were at the front of the riots'.

German chancellor Angela Merkel today condemned the violence as 'abhorrent' after even paramedics were attacked with bottles while trying to help an injured person.

Police say there was no sign of a political motivation, blaming alcohol and the 'party scene' for the outbreak of violence ( downplay )- although some have linked the riots to the anti-police protests in the United States.

Footage verified by German media showed some of the rioters chanting 'Allahu Akbar', meaning 'God is great' Allah is the greatest in Arabic, as they ran down a street during the night-time violence.

Muslim blogger Nasir Ahmad condemned the rioters for 'abusing' the phrase, saying it is meant to be 'not a call to terror, but call to prayer and peace'. ( for sure not. )

Merkel's spokesman Steffen Seibert said today: 'Whoever has done this has turned against their city, against the people with whom they live and against the laws that protect us all.'

Stuttgart's deputy police chief Thomas Berger said that the hundreds of young looters had come from the 'party scene' and the 'Saturday night scene'.

In his 30 years as a police officer he had never seen violence like this and 'there have never been any scenes like this in Stuttgart,' he said.

Berger said the violence had erupted during a 'totally normal' encounter in which police arrested a white German teenager on suspicion of a drugs offence.

Some 200 to 300 people immediately started attacking police in 'solidarity' with the teenager, and the crowd of rioters eventually grew as high as 500, he said.

The rioters even threw bottles at paramedics who had been called to an 'emergency' at the scene, he said. German media has described the scenes as a 'battlefield'.

19 police officers were hurt and the number could yet rise because some of them may not have reported their injuries at the time, it is believed.

Police said 40 shops had been attacked while 12 police vehicles were damaged, some of them so badly that they had to be taken out of service.

Police chief Franz Lutz told a press conference that 'at the moment we can rule out a left-wing or indeed any political motivation' for the violence.

However, the 'party scene' which has re-emerged after the lifting of the coronavirus lockdown has recently seen a growing anti-police sentiment in social media posts, he said.

Police forces have been the subject of widespread anger around the world since the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis on May 25.

Crowds in Stuttgart threw stones and bottles while smaller groups ran through surrounding streets breaking shop windows, according to officers.

Police said 40 businesses were vandalised and nine of them looted before the violence was finally brought under control at around 4.30am.

'These are unbelievable scenes which have left me speechless and which I've not experienced in my 46 years in the police,' Lutz said.

'There was a never-before-seen dimension of open violence against police and massive property damage,' he said.

'It is a sad day for Stuttgart and also for the police.'

Six injured as a driver rams motorbikes in suspected terror attack in Berlin.
The 30-year-old Iraqi Sarmad A, shouted 'Allahu akbar' and he had placed an old ammunition box on top of the car, claiming it was a bomb, while shouting: 'Nobody come any closer or you will all die.'

Police believe Sarmad, who was born in Baghdad in 1990, may have been radicalised in the refugee shelter by a known extremist with ISIS sympathies.

Sarmad is now facing three counts of attempted murder.
Man drove into motorcyclists in German highway terror attack, officials say

An Iraqi-born man deliberately drove his car into motorcycles along a stretch of Berlin highway, leaving at least one person in life-threatening condition in what German officials said Wednesday was a terror attack.

"According to the current state of our investigation we assume this was an Islamist-motivated attack," Berlin's senator for the interior, Andreas Geisel, said. "A religiously motivated background cannot be excluded."

Six people were injured, three of them severely, when the 30-year-old man allegedly drove into several vehicles, intentionally hitting motorcycles, on Tuesday evening, Berlin prosecutors and police said in a joint statement.

3 crash sites
The crashes at three different locations happened during rush hour on the BAB100 highway shortly before 7 p.m. local time and led to a complete closure of one of the main traffic arteries of Berlin.

Investigators did not reveal the man's identity, as is customary in Germany, but local media identified the suspect as Sarmad D. He is being investigated for three cases of attempted murder.

There were also indications that the man had mental health issues.

"The fact that the suspect was possibly suffering from psychological problems does not make this issue any easier," Geisel said. "If personal problems mix with religiously loaded ideas, this can lead to uncontrollable acts. Yesterday's events have shown in a very painful way how vulnerable our society is."

Prosecutor Martin Steltner told reporters they were investigating if the suspect was linked to any terrorist group or if other people were involved in the attack but had not found any indications of that yet.

However, investigators were looking into tips that the man may have had possible contacts with other extremists, Steltner said.

Islam belongs to Germany Merkel says...So... :(

Angela Merkel reveals she has no regrets over the 2015 Muslim invasion, claims she would let a million more

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has doubled down on her controversial open borders immigration policy, saying she would make “essentially the same decisions” if presented with similar circumstances to the 2015 mass migration of Muslim migrant-wannabes illegally posing as refugees.

Merkel was asked about the policy during her annual summer press conference in Berlin on Friday. “When people are standing at the German-Austrian border or the Hungarian-Austrian border, they have to be treated like human beings,” the German leader told journalists.

The politician added that European nations will face similar tough decisions for many years to come. “The subject of migration … is not finished. It will be a constant theme for the 21st century,” she said.

There were roughly one million first-time asylum applications in Germany between 2015 and 2016 – one of the critical moments of Merkel’s 15-year tenure as chancellor of the European nation.

Despite an initial wave of popular support among the German people, the reality of Merkel’s immigration policy decision quickly gave way to skepticism and, later, controversy and a backlash, after a slew of high-profile incidents involving migrants, including numerous sexual assaults during the 2015-16 New Year’s Eve celebrations.

Some 1,250 women in at least 12 cities were reportedly sexually assaulted. At least 24 of the victims were raped – in most instances, by non-European men. The Berlin Christmas market attack in December 2016 only added insult to injury, and fuelled another wave of public outcry at home and abroad.

The authorities’ handling of both situations inflamed widespread skepticism of the migration policy and at least partially contributed to a surge in support for the anti-immigration AfD party, which gained a foothold in the German parliament for the first time in the 2017 federal elections.

Merkel also made a deal with Turkey, promising visa-free travel in Europe for Turkish citizens in exchange for Turkey stemming the tide of migration through its borders. This afforded Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan new leverage in negotiations with Brussels in the years to come, including in 2020, when he threatened to open the refugee floodgates if NATO did not back Turkish operations in Syria.

In 2019, some 1,345,943 foreigners migrated to Germany, compared with roughly 2,016,241 in 2015. Of these, 165,938 applied for refugee status, and 41,094 of those came from Syria. At least 54,034 applications were rejected, while 45,053 people were granted refugee status, according to figures from the country’s Federal Statistical Office.

The influx of more than a million Muslim freeloaders posing as refugees should be welcomed as an ‘opportunity’, Angela Merkel told Germans:

Back in 2015, Merkel says there should be no limits for immigration from the Muslim Middle East and North Africa to Germany. No application forms, no proof – anyone who can make it gets thousands of dollars plus access to Germany’s existing welfare state. Angela Merkel just read out Germany’s suicide note.

Angela Merkel scolds German citizens who are terrified of the sudden massive Muslim invasion of their country – a stampede of millions of mostly male welfare-dependent freeloaders, criminals, rapists, thugs, and terrorists in the mix, the majority of whom are not from war-torn Syria.

A politician wrong? On this earth?

Of course she has not housed any of them ... but she sure told everybody else they should, including all the neighbours of Germany.

POLITICAL CORRECTNESS on steroids: “There are no more foreigners in Berlin”

BERLIN City Council issues orders to its staff to refrain from saying ‘foreigners’ and instead refer to them as ‘inhabitants without German citizenship’ and to stop saying ‘illegal aliens/immigrants’ and refer to them as ‘undocumented migrants.’ Even worse, ‘asylum seekers’ now must be called ‘persons requiring protection’ and people with a ‘migrant background’ should be described as ‘people with an international history.’

Daily Mail (h/t Terry D) Political correctness has invaded and struck at the heart of Germany with a series of strange new phrases in a new diversity (aka Muslim)-sensitive language guide.

Berlin city council has told state employees in the capital to watch their language to avoid offense. New guidelines put in place by the nanny state authority have led to guidance on every day phrases that they say should not be used.

Among the many phrases targeted by the PC brigade is ‘asylum seeker. ‘According to the new guide this term is misleading as there is a fundamental right to asylum. Instead state employees should use the term ‘persons requiring protection.’

Foreigners should be replaced with ‘residents without German citizenship’ and people with a migrant background should be referred to as ‘people with an international history.’

The new rules have been severely criticized across Germany. Gunnar Schupelius, a commentator on the local daily newspaper BZ, said that a ‘clique’ of politicians was trying to influence people to believe what they think is right. He wrote that they want to ensure people ‘behave in accordance with their political ideology.’
The guidance has been turned into a 44-page guide and it forms part of a national diversity programme. It aims to train Berlin’s state employees to communicate ‘with the people in this city,’ regardless of their sexuality, gender, age, disability, religion or ethnic origin.

The booklet also states that if someone changes gender then officials should not say ‘gender change’ but ‘gender realignment.’ While the German phrase ‘Schwarzfahren,’ which translates as riding black, and is a widely used German term for fare dodging on public transport should not be used at all.

The PC guide was written by the State Office for Equal Treatment Against Discrimination, which is run by Justice Senator Dirk Behrendt, from the Green Party.

Mr Behrendt, in a press statement, said: ‘Berlin is home to people from many different backgrounds and in very different situations ‘Berliners should understand the administration as their own and therefore the administration should also be open to this diversity.

Egyptian German Scholar and former Muslim, Hamed Abdel Samad, offers a scathing criticism of the European Left for its political correctness, saying that while historically, the Left has always defended the underdog, when it comes to Islam, it “morphs into the “racism of low expectations.”
