:lotpot: This story was debunked hours after it was published.

Sources said they never heard Trump call war dead 'losers' or 'suckers;' other details remain in dispute (why the trip was cancelled)

Really?????
What about this? (Same foxnews source - attesting otherwise)

As you might know, Fox Network has two divisions. One Opinion (Hannity, Ingram & Carlson - also known as "the talking heads"). They are considered the "Taco Bell" & the "McDonnell" (the junk food low quality / high Calories) of the news media. They blabber their mouth just to jazz their viewers & prod them to react. More reaction the higher the TV rating & more money. That explains their high profitability (last year FN had earned $1.5B profit).

The news division is much more reputable with relatively high quality & reliable news. You brought the Opinion part of this network, while I brought you the News part which - correctly sets the facts. Indeed trump DID say those awful comments about the war dead.

Oh, I see if Fox news bashes trump then they are reputable--but if they say anything else, then FOX news is a liar.

Donald Trump nominated for Nobel Peace Prize after helping to broker Israel-UAE deal

The US president, who was also nominated in 2018, was recommended for the prize by a member of the Norwegian parliament.

Donald Trump has been nominated for the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize following his efforts to broker a deal between Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The US president's name has been put forward by Norwegian politician Christian Tybring-Gjedde, according to Fox News.

"For his merit, I think he has done more trying to create peace between nations than most other Peace Prize nominees," Mr Tybring-Gjedde, a four-term member of parliament, told the channel.

As part of the deal, announced at the White House on 13 August following what officials said were 18 months of talks, the Gulf state agreed to normal relations with Israel, while Israel agreed to continue with plans to suspend its annexation of the West Bank.

Submissions must be made online and all nominees are discussed before a shortlist of the most worthy and interesting is drawn up.

Someone has a very crude & funny sense of humor :lotpot: We will live long enough to see Nobel Committee award trump this coveted prize.
Beside the deadline for nomination was last February. Not valid for this year. Inshallah many he will be nominated in the year 2121

Where was Adam 'Live is but a screenplay' Schiff all this time? Well he found a new whistleblower so Trump can be impeached if he will be relected

Schiff reveals new whistleblower complaint alleging suppression of Russian election interference
The House Intelligence Committee received a whistleblower complaint claiming Trump administration officials at the White House and the Department of Homeland Security suppressed intelligence reports related to Russian election interference, Democratic Committee Chairman Adam Schiff said Wednesday.

In a statement, Schiff said former Intelligence and Analysis Acting Under Secretary Brian Murphy filed the whistleblower reprisal complaint on Tuesday with the DHS Office of Inspector General.

“We’ve received a whistleblower complaint alleging DHS suppressed intel reports on Russian election interference, altered intel to match false Trump claims and made false statements to Congress,” Schiff, D-Calif., tweeted Wednesday afternoon. “This puts our national security at risk.”

      He added: “We will investigate.”

Trump announces another peace deal: Bahrain normalizes relations with Israel

      https://www.foxnews.com/politics/trump- ... deal-peace
President Trump on Friday announced that Bahrain has agreed to normalize relations with Israel, another diplomatic win for the president coming after a similar agreement with the United Arab Emirates just last month.

“This is really something special, very, very special," Trump said in the Oval Office, predicting that the region "will become more secure and prosperous" as a result of the diplomatic moves.

The sand was loaded up with blood, and now you’ll see a lot of that sand will be loaded up with peace," he said.

According to a formal statement issued by the three countries, they agreed to "the establishment of full diplomatic relations between Israel and the Kingdom of Bahrain."

“This is a historic breakthrough to further peace in the Middle East. Opening direct dialogue and ties between these two dynamic societies and advanced economies will continue the positive transformation of the Middle East and increase stability, security, and prosperity in the region," the statement said.

The statement said that Israel had also affirmed that all Muslims may visit and pray at the Al Aqsa Mosque, and Jerusalem’s other holy sites will remain open for peaceful worshippers of all faiths.
Hombre must be so exited as Trump accomplished more than the Obama-Biden administration in 8 years time.... Question: will Saudi-Arabia follow soon?

Fortunately I read Hebrew & read publications from Israel. This issue is not that simple as FaxNews presents it.
Constrictive relationship between Israel & its Arab neighbors go back all the 1980's & later when Mullahs in Tehran started to flex their muscle into other Arab-Sunni countries (remember the "Shi'ite Crescent" ). Also, following the 1st Gulf war (1991) Arafat had sided with Saddam Hussein & his invasion of Kuwait, it enraged many Gulf Arab leaders & of course the Saudis. Feeling stabled in the back they decided Pals are not worth the sacrifices to which they have been making for them.

That was when they begun realized that Israel is not the enemy - rather it is the Mullahs in Iran. Israel is the only supper power in the region who can stand against Iran - their common enemy. It was then when Israel, UAE, Oman, Bahrain & Saudi Arabia initiated their secrete direct contacts started to cooperate with Israel & the Mossad (with full knowledge of US) to confront Iran. At first, that cooperation was confined to matters of national security & intelligence sharing in which they purchased sensitive devices to gather intelligence from Israel. Later that expanded into other Israel's advanced technology in Agricultural, ware desalination, medicine, space as well commerce & other civilian products.

Another reason for this rapprochement is that, Arab countries vital interest with USA. Since 1980's every US president had made it clear to these Arab leaders that they can't formulate hostile relation with US's best ally (Israel) in the region & expect US to sell them its advanced weapons (like the F-35).
These are the main reasons for UAE, Bahrain later Saudi Arabia & Oman are forming friendship with Israel.

As you see, relationship between Israel & its neighbors do go way back to late 80's- long before trump was born

As for trump taking credit? Much like carter & Clinton took credit for peace between Israel - Egypt & Jordan, as a superpower in the region US Presidents always get the credit - even though their had minimal contributions in the negotiation & that is fine.

Sure. Erdogan denounced Israel while his army exercised together with Israeli an forces. Still it is beneficial to have official relations as it makes it much easier to participate in informal and official events and exercise influence. That being said, these Arab countries are surely looking for advanced technology under the threat of the brotherhood and Iran. Perhaps more striking is that liberal MSM didn't even mention it while they always credited the previous administration for any significant fart. Trump may have received more credit if he mentioned those who negotiated the deal but he really can't delegate :)

Yet there is no doubt about the fact that Trump accomplished more than the Obama-Biden administration in 8 years time.

trump CLAIMS to have done more - because that all he does - take credit for other's work. After all he is known for this ugly trait.
As his act (which I do thank him for) to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's Capital. Back in 1995 Congress had passed that law. (The Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995). However it was delayed by 6 month by each president.
trump took this step because he promised to the Christian evangelical groups - an important base of supporters - not necessarily his love of Israel or Jewish people.

The world faces terrible environmental problems, as the article about wildlife I posted highlights. Trump is indifferent to this issue. It was Theodore Roosevelt, a Republican, who first did something substantial to save the remnants of US wildlife from extinction after 300 years of relentless assault by European colonizers. However, Trump like most Republicans sees environmental protection and conservation as an unacceptable burden on business. It is a tragedy that the US has the choice between this blinkered tycoon and a semi-senile Democrat candidate who leads a party in thrall to the religion of open borders.

You know what? I'd like everyone here to notice that Hombre right here says that Trump has done nothing. This is his belief. Trump sits in the white house and steals people's work. That's it. he is too stupid to do anything. he's done nothing. that's hombre's viewpoint on everything--basically Trump eats food and steals from the american people--that's it--that is what Hombre thinks and it is pure hatred for a man Hombre knows nothing about.

Notice as well Trump doesn't love isreal--or the jewish people and he's the most reacist, white supremecist with jewish grandkids on the planet, but you know Hombre who lives in the middle of Isreal must stare out a window and think the SCUD missles and other attacks aren't really happening.
